As I posted in my personal blog, it was becoming very irritating dealing with Blogger while on dial up internet. I now have highspeed so you will be seeing a lot more of my pages, cards and crafts.

April's Art Appreciation Challenge was released today over at ScrapCentral. I chose a piece that is so not my style but there wasn't much choice left by the time I had posted. I do, however, really like the colours in it. So that is what I went with.

This was for Sweet Sentiments. Loved this paper with the big bird on it and I used a picture of my honorary niece. I love this pic of her. It was a bit strange doing a layout of a little baby girl! LOL

This layout was for a challenge over at ScrapCentral. I had to put everything on an angle. Something I definitely have a hard time doing but I LOVE the result!!

I lifted this layout but I can't seem to remember or find the original. hmm where did it go?

I know it has been a while since I last blogged. I had my hopes up for highspeed shot down again so it still takes a bit to post.

I will start posting layouts again very soon. I was on a roll for a while and complete quite a few layouts and cards. Most of them I love! ;) Can't wait to share them with you all.

Also, next weekend I will be in Kitchener for ScrapFest. I can't wait!!!! I'm SOOOOO excited!!!!

CHA Favourites - My Minds Eye

I am sooooo excited about getting this!! I use the computer practically every time I create a layout so I will get great use out this machine.

Making Memories Paperie line

I was able to work with some of this new line for my lss. The Mocha & Greenhouse lines. I love them. LOVE them!! The embellishments that I used were the Dimensional Stickers. Letters were alphabet stickers. I also use one of the journaling pages from the Greenhouse Spiral Journaling Books.

Fall 2008 Mini Book

I created this mini book out of one piece of 12x12 patterned paper. I love the size of it (3x3). The pictures were resized to 3x2. I will be teaching this at my LSS's Crop for the Cure on Saturday. :)

Materials used: PP - Autumn Leaves, Chatterbox (tree on front), Cardstock - Worldwin, Ribbon - unknown, Rub-ons - KI Memories, Basic Grey, Making Memories, Felt - Dollarama, Stamps - Inkadinkado, Autumn Leaves, Scrappy Cat & Katie & Co, Ink - Tsukineko, Letter Stickers - Making Memories.
